Food Security

In Malawi, food security is delivered through Farming as a Family Business, a training model we developed ourselves. Instead of one person carrying the planning, the labour, and the risk, the whole family shares it, so a season doesn't fail just because one person couldn't carry it alone. Risk itself is split into three separate problems, production, market, and income, each with its own fix, which is what keeps food on the table through a bad year, not just a good one. In Uganda, this training is paired with credit issued directly against the growing season itself, at Okere City.
